You may wish to identify or explore your goals.
You don't want it to be this hard. You don't want to be this angry.
You want to be happier and more fulfilled.

You want your relationships to be better, perhaps deeper, richer; less difficult.
You may want to identify your dreams, and the steps to take to get closer to fulfilling those dreams.
You may be feeling overwhelmed or exhausted by the demands of parenting; if your children easily push your buttons or are not great at listening to you, I can help you find ways to communicate effectively with your child(ren) so that you can be the parent you want to be.
If you are a youth, I can help you develop strategies to communicate more effectively with your parent(s), and/or to deal more effectively with your emotions.
I offer approachable counselling services, online or in person, to help you on your journey. I can help you identify and remove barriers, allowing you to move forward with greater calm, clarity, confidence, and connection.

Seeking counselling services may seem daunting and somewhat scary. At Safe Harbour you will find a warm, approachable environment to explore your concerns through easy therapeutic conversation and judgment-free listening. My overarching style is warm, authentic, and compassionate. Let me do the heavy lifting, you just bring you.
I am informed by a variety of therapeutic modalities which I integrate in my approach to meet the unique needs and goals of those I work with, including Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy MBCT), and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). Through 1:1 therapeutic conversation, I will support you as you work toward becoming the best version of yourself, through becoming more attuned to yourself through mindfulness and personal growth. I help people develop strategies to better cope with anxiety, depression, grief, and loss. I can help you with negative or obsessive thoughts, and compulsive behaviours (OCD).
I can help you work though issues related to your identity, relationships, parenting, family, general communication, and self-esteem.
I help youth create better relationships with their parents and develop more helpful strategies and communication skills.
